The Prophetic Seed

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest shall not cease.” — Genesis 8:22 KJV

Every prophetic word needs a prophetic seed to bring it into manifestation. God speaks, you sow.
God promises, you plant. The seed is your agreement with what God has said.A prophetic seed is not ordinary giving. It is giving in response to a Word, giving as an act of faith that you believe
what God has said concerning you. “Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister
bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown” — 2 Corinthians 9:10 KJV. When God ministers
a Word, He also ministers seed to seal that Word.

The widow of Zarephath heard the prophetic word from Elijah and sowed her last meal, and her
oil and flour never ceased. Hannah received a prophetic word and her seed of worship brought
forth Samuel. When you sow into prophecy, you move from hearing to harvesting.Your seed
speaks. Your seed remembers. Your seed demands a harvest in line with the Word you have
received. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also
reap” — Galatians 6:7 KJV.Do not just hear prophecy, honour it with seed. Let your giving
prophesy that you believe God.

We sow prophetically by the Spirit. “But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also
sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let him give” — 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 KJV. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, He stirs your heart and purifies your motive, teaching you to sow cheerfully, faithfully,
and prophetically for a sure harvest.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your prophetic Word over my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and teach me
to honour Your Word with my seed. I sow today in faith, and I receive the harvest of all You have
spoken concerning me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
