The President urged the diplomats to strengthen international partnerships, open new markets for Ghanaian businesses, attract strategic investments, promote industrialisation and ensure greater value addition to Ghana’s natural resources. He said the success of missions must be measured by practical benefits delivered to Ghanaians.

President Mahama noted shifting global alliances, trade restrictions and competition over technology require Ghana to engage with confidence. He tasked the envoys to follow through on agreements, identify obstacles early and work with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to deliver results under the Resetting Ghana Agenda.
