Leeds: Ghanaian Driver Jailed 6 Years For Killing Boy
Ghanaian delivery driver living in United Kingdom has been jailed for 6 years after driving through no entry sign and killing 5-year-old boy in Leeds. Colin Agyei, 32, was making deliveries on July 7, 2022, when he drove wrong way along Back Camberley Street in Beeston. Leeds court said his dangerous driving caused fatal crash.
According to Leeds Crown Court record, Agyei ignored no entry signage while on delivery route in Beeston area. Prosecutors said he entered restricted street at speed and struck child who was playing near pavement. Emergency services rushed boy to hospital but he died from injuries.
