Kwabenya Court: 6 Accused Over 3.9 Tonnes Drug Containers
The six persons accused in connection with four 40-foot containers allegedly shipped from Tema Port and later intercepted in France with approximately 3.9 tonnes of substances suspected to be narcotic drugs have arrived at the Kwabenya Circuit Court in Accra. The accused were brought under heavy security for proceedings linked to the international drug bust.
The containers were shipped from Tema Port before French authorities intercepted them and discovered about 3.9 tonnes of suspected narcotics. The Ghanaian suspects were subsequently linked to the shipment and arrested to face prosecution at the Kwabenya Circuit Court.
