Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has launched a blistering critique of government performance during the Mid-Year Budget Review, urging the administration to concentrate on delivering the 24-hour economy policy and warning against any contemplation of a third term.
Speaking during the budget review in Parliament on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, Mr Afenyo-Markin said the focus of governance must shift from political posturing to tangible delivery. He stated that government must prioritize the 24-hour economy policy which the NDC government promised Ghanaians during the last electoral cycle.
