Strengthened By The Word
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105 ESV
Weakness often starts in the Word. When Scripture is neglected, faith grows thin and decisions grow loud. But when the Word is welcomed, the soul grows strong. The Word does three things every day. It illuminates. It corrects. It sustains. It shows you the next step when the road is dark. It trims what is crooked before it ruins you. And it feeds you when the world offers empty bread.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God” — Matthew 4:4 ESV. Strength is not built in one feast. It is built in daily bites. A verse you obey. A promise you carry. A truth you speak back to fear. That is how giants fall and mountains move.
The Word hidden in you becomes wisdom in your mouth and power in your hands. Do not starve what God meant to strengthen. Open it. Read it. Pray it. Do it. Let it search you, shape you, and settle you. The stronger you are in the Word, the steadier you will be in the storm.
Prayer:
Lord, make me a lover of Your Word. Let it light my path, correct my steps, and strengthen my heart. I will not live by noise, I will live by Your truth. Amen.
