Luxury Cars Seized, Abu Trica Explains

Ghanaian businessman Abu Trica has told court that luxury vehicles, including a Lamborghini and Mercedes Benz, found at his Airport Residential apartment were faulty and left in his care for sale by clients. The vehicles were seized by authorities, sparking speculation about their origin.

According to Joy News, Abu Trica explained that he is a car dealer and had received the vehicles from clients who wanted him to sell them on their behalf. He claimed that the vehicles were faulty and had been left with him for repair and sale.

The seized vehicles include a Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, and a Cyber truck, valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars. Abu Trica’s explanation has raised questions about the ownership and origin of the vehicles.

Abu Trica’s lawyer has assured the court that his client is cooperating with authorities and is willing to provide any necessary documentation to prove ownership. The case has sparked widespread interest, with many calling for a thorough investigation.

The seizure of the luxury vehicles has also raised concerns about the importation and sale of high-end cars in Ghana. Authorities have been cracking down on illicit activities, including money laundering and tax evasion, in the automotive industry.

The court is expected to rule on the case, with Abu Trica’s fate hanging in the balance.
