Consumed by Zeal
“For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” – Psalm 69:9 KJV
Zeal is a fire that burns within, driving you to pursue God’s purposes with passion and energy. When you’re consumed by zeal, nothing can stop you from serving Him. You’re fueled by a burning desire to see God’s kingdom come and His will be done.
David’s zeal for God’s house consumed him, and he wasn’t ashamed to express it. When you’re consumed by zeal, you’ll be willing to take risks, step out in faith, and surrender your all to God’s service. Your passion will inspire others, and together, you’ll advance God’s kingdom.
Zeal is contagious – when you’re on fire, others will catch the flame. But it starts with you. Ask God to ignite a fire in your heart, and let it burn brightly for Him. As
you surrender to His zeal, you’ll experience a deeper level of intimacy and purpose.
Let God’s zeal consume you, and watch how He uses you to make a difference. Your
life will be a reflection of His glory, and your passion will inspire a generation.
Be on fire in God’s house! Make God’s house your house. Let His presence be your passion, and His glory be your pursuit. Rise up, and
take your place in God’s house – let the fire burn!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, consume me with Your zeal. Let Your fire burn brightly in me, and
use me to advance Your kingdom. Amen.
