Canadian Woman and Ghanaian Boyfriend Arrested for Alleged Arson in Oyarifa

The Ghana Police Service has arrested a Canadian woman, Jennifer Mae Tomlinson, and her Ghanaian boyfriend, Mohammed Issah, for allegedly burning down an apartment in Oyarifa. The incident occurred on December 23, 2025, and the police have confirmed that the suspects deliberately set the property ablaze, completely destroying it.

Investigation Underway

Mohammed Issah was arrested on the same day, while Jennifer Mae Tomlinson went into hiding and was later arrested on December 25, 2025. Both suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations and are expected to be arraigned before court to face charges .
