Anchored By Hope
“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner shrine behind the curtain.” — Hebrews 6:19 ESV
Some seasons will toss you. News will shake. Plans will shift. But your soul was never meant to drift. God gave you an anchor. Hope is not wishful thinking. It is a firm rope tied to The Lord’s precious written Word. It holds you when emotions storm and opinions change.
Because this hope enters behind the curtain, it is rooted where the world cannot reach. Christ is there for you. He is your guarantee. When anxiety rises, remember this: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” — Jeremiah 29:11 ESV.
You are not forgotten. You are not late. You are held. So do not cut the rope to chase every wind. Stay focused and unfazed. Worship through the waves. Trust through the test. The anchor will keep your soul steady until the tide turns.
Prayer:
Jesus, be the anchor for my soul today. When fear pulls, hold me fast. When doubt blows, keep me sure. I fix my hope on You, behind the curtain, where it is safe and steadfast. Amen.
