The Ghana Police Service has arrested one suspect in connection with the brazen jewellery robbery that occurred in Adabraka on November 2, 2024. The incident, which happened in broad daylight, saw a group of armed men storming a jewellery shop and making off with approximately $500,000.

According to eyewitnesses, the robbers fired shots into the air, causing panic among shoppers and vendors, and injured one person. The police have launched a manhunt for the other accomplices involved in the heist.
