Volta Regional Minister Prays for Peace and Development in 2026

Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has described 2026 as a year of transformation and accelerated development for the region. According to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC), Gunu made this statement during a special devotion session, part of the Council’s weekly Fellowship with God programme.
The session, led by Elder Professor Yaw Peasa, Founder and Leader of the El Bethel Prayer Center, focused on spiritual leadership and governance. Peasa’s powerful ministry was followed by prayers for peace, unity, and development in the Volta Region.
In his remarks, Gunu emphasized that success cannot be achieved through human strength alone, but rather through God’s guidance. He prayed for peace in the homes of staff and residents, good health, and renewed strength to drive the Government’s Reset Agenda.
The Reset Agenda aims to combat poverty, unemployment, and underdevelopment in the region. Gunu’s prayer underscores the importance of spiritual guidance in achieving these goals. The Volta Regional Minister has been actively engaging with stakeholders to promote development, including meeting with US investors to advance entrepreneurship and technology.
Gunu’s vision for the Volta Region aligns with the Government’s efforts to stimulate economic growth and improve living standards. His commitment to spiritual leadership is expected to inspire positive change in the region.
