Worship That Welcomes God
“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24 ESV
Worship is more than songs. It is your whole life saying, “You are God, and I am not.”
True worship
is Spirit-led and Word-rooted. It is honest, surrendered, and focused on Jesus. “I appeal to you
therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” — Romans 12:1 ESV.
Your adoration, your obedience, your service — all of it is worship. Worship invites God’s
presence. “Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel” — Psalm 22:3 ESV. When you lift
Him up, He draws near. Burdens get lighter. Hearts get aligned. Battles shift because your eyes are
on the King.
Do not save worship for Sunday only. Start your day with it. Lift your voice. Lift your hands. Lift
your life. Welcome God into your Monday.
Prayer:
Lord, I worship You in spirit and truth. Be enthroned in my praise today. Have all of me — my
voice, my heart, my life. Amen.
