Ho- Volta Region, Ghana – Comrade Mawutor Agbavitor. Regional Chairman of the NDC praised the Oxygen City Community 27 Project, describing it as a prime example of action-oriented development initiated by former President John Dramani Mahama.
In an interview, with GBC Volta Star Radio Host, Tony Mark-Boye, Comrade Agbavitor lauded the project’s potential to transform Ho and its surrounding areas, citing its numerous benefits. “The Oxygen City Project shows action-orientedness by JDM,” he said, emphasizing the project’s significance.
The project, which was cut sod for yesterday by President Mahama, is a 1,860-acre development situated near the Ho Airport. It is expected to bring numerous benefits to the local community and the country as a whole.
“The project will provide employment opportunities, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for residents,” Comrade Agbavitor said. He added that the project would also contribute to the growth of the local economy, with the establishment of a four-star hotel, a first-class specialist hospital, and other amenities.
Some of the benefits of the project include:

– Enhanced healthcare services with the establishment of a specialist hospital
– Increased housing supply, addressing Ghana’s housing deficit

President Mahama emphasized the importance of such partnerships, saying, “This demonstrates what becomes possible when state institutions work in collaboration with private individuals.”
