Prophet El-Bernard Takes Blame for Failed Prophecy

In a candid address to his congregation at Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard El-Bernard Nelson-Eshun has taken full responsibility for his inaccurate prophecy about Kennedy Agyapong winning the NPP flagbearer elections. The Ghanaian prophet announced that he will be stepping down from preaching for a year, citing accountability and integrity as reasons for his decision.
According to the Ghanaian news outlet, (link unavailable), Prophet El-Bernard stated, “At this point, I don’t need encouragement from anyone and I can’t force anyone to stay in the church. Whoever wants to stop the church because of my failed prophecy about Kennedy Agyapong winning the NPP flagbearer elections is free to quit the church!”.
The prophet’s decision comes after his prophecy failed to materialize, with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia emerging as the winner of the NPP presidential primaries. Prophet El-Bernard emphasized that he will continue to attend church services but will not be behind the pulpit for the next year.
In his statement, Prophet El-Bernard referenced his book, “School of Prophecy,” which outlines the steps a prophet should take when a prophetic word does not come to pass. He emphasized the importance of accountability and integrity, stating that he is committed to upholding these values despite the backlash.
The NPP presidential primaries saw Dr. Bawumia secure a decisive victory with 56.48% of the valid votes cast, while Kennedy Agyapong conceded defeat and pledged his support to the winner.
