SPACO Headmaster Appeals for Infrastructure Support Ahead of Anniversary

The Headmaster of St. Paul’s Secondary School, Mr. Emmanuel Dogodzi, has appealed to private institutions, non-governmental organizations, and government officials to assist the school with additional infrastructure, with a critical focus on toilet facilities.

Speaking in an interview with Volta News, Mr. Dogodzi disclosed that St. Paul’s Secondary School, established on 10th March 1958, is preparing to mark its 68th anniversary. He noted that the celebration will honor hardworking teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as outstanding students, in recognition of their dedication and achievements.

Mr. Dogodzi highlighted several ongoing development projects, including the construction of two new dormitories and the renovation of existing classroom blocks and dormitories. According to him, these projects are being financed through GETFund.

Despite these improvements, he lamented that the school’s existing toilet facilities remain under severe pressure due to the growing student population. He therefore urged private institutions, NGOs, and government agencies to intervene by providing additional toilet facilities to ease the burden on students and staff.

The headmaster further appealed for support to renovate the school’s basketball court to enhance sporting activities and offer students better recreational opportunities.

Mr. Dogodzi also extended an invitation to Junior High School graduates to consider St. Paul’s Secondary School for their next academic step, encouraging them to pursue excellence. “We welcome all young men and women who have completed JHS to come to St. Paul’s Secondary School and excel in their academics,” he said.
