Resurrection Power New Generation Church Pray to Stop Fire
A devastating fire swept through the Resurrection Power New Generation Church yesterday, leaving the building in ashes. But in a remarkable display of faith, members of the church were seen actively praying to quench the flames, as if seeking a divine intervention to stop the destruction.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out around 10am, and despite the efforts of the Ghana National Fire Service, the building was largely consumed by the time the flames were brought under control. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but investigations are underway.
“It was a shocking sight, but we believe in the power of prayer,” said a church member, who wished to remain anonymous. “We prayed fervently, and we believe that God will restore what has been lost.” The church, which has been a beacon of hope for many in the community, is now a smoldering ruin, with only the walls standing.
The congregation, known for their lively worship and community outreach programs, is now counting their losses and seeking ways to rebuild. “This is a setback, but we will not be deterred,” said the church’s pastor, who led the congregation in prayer. “We will rebuild and continue to serve our community.”
