President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday visited a kente exhibition by the Russia-Ghana Parliamentary Forum in Moscow as part of the official activities surrounding the Third Russia-Africa Summit.
The exhibition, which is being organized by the Russia-Ghana Parliamentary Forum in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) and the Ghana’s Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, seeks to showcase Ghana’s rich cultural heritage through kente, one of the country’s most iconic and internationally recognized traditional textiles.
The President’s visit highlights Ghana’s push to promote culture as a tool for trade and diplomacy, with kente taking center stage as a symbol of Ghanaian identity before the world in Moscow.
💬 Howedey Insight: JM is using culture to open trade doors, putting Ghanaian kente on the global stage at the Russia-Africa Summit.
