GES To Pay Outstanding Promotion Arrears On November 16
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that outstanding promotion arrears owed to affected staff are expected to be paid on November 16, 2026, following engagements with the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department.
The Service explained that the payment timeline was reached after successful engagements with the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department to clear and process the backlog owed to staff whose promotions had already been approved.
Affected teaching and non-teaching staff have been urged to remain patient as the Service finalizes the payment processes to ensure all outstanding arrears are paid in full on the scheduled date.
