Michael Addo, organiser and leader of the South African evacuees says some members of their group received calls from the opposition party and were coached to speak against the government.
According to Addo, the calls were part of an attempt to influence the narrative around the evacuees and turn public opinion against the government.
He made the allegation while speaking on the recent developments involving the group, insisting that the majority of the evacuees remain focused and not swayed by external influence.
