Ho Central MP Kpotosu Joins No-Fees-Stress Education Dialogue Forum

The dialogue was convened by the Honourable Minister for Education and ably organised by the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), in his capacity as the Member of Parliament for the Ho Central Constituency. The day was exceptionally productive, bringing together distinguished stakeholders, thought leaders, and key actors from across Ghana’s broad educational landscape. The dialogue was chaired and led with remarkable insight by the Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, whose leadership enriched the deliberations.
“We critically examined the implementation strategies of the policy, shared practical experiences from the field, and advanced strong, actionable recommendations aimed at improving the programme’s effectiveness, strengthening inter-institutional partnerships, and ensuring that tertiary education financing becomes more inclusive, equitable, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of the Ghanaian student,” the Ho Central MP posted.
“Together, we are building an education system that leaves no one behind,” the NDC MP for Ho Central concluded. The No-Fees-Stress Policy, a flagship NDC initiative, seeks to remove financial barriers for first-year tertiary students by covering academic fees through SLTF, with stakeholders now fine-tuning implementation to ensure sustainability and equity.
