Asiedu Nketia Urges NDC Loyalists to Stay Put

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has called on supporters of the party to remain steadfast and not abandon the party due to frustration. According to #GhanaNews, Asiedu Nketia emphasized that the NDC is a formidable political force that has endured despite challenges and urged party members to focus on rebuilding and strengthening the party for future electoral success.

Asiedu Nketia’s comments come amid growing concerns about the party’s internal dynamics and the potential impact of internal conflicts on its electoral prospects. He acknowledged the frustrations within the party but stressed that abandoning the NDC would be a mistake, given its history and the opportunities it presents for Ghana’s development.

The NDC stalwart highlighted the party’s achievements in office, including investments in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, and urged supporters to remain committed to the party’s ideals and vision for Ghana. He also emphasized the need for party members to engage in constructive criticism and work towards unity and cohesion.

Asiedu Nketia’s appeal is seen as a bid to stem the tide of defections and maintain party unity ahead of future elections. The NDC has been grappling with internal conflicts and criticisms, but Asiedu Nketia’s message suggests that the party is determined to move forward and position itself for success.

The call to supporters comes as the NDC prepares for its national conference, where key decisions on leadership and strategy are expected to be made.
