The Volta Regional Minister, James Gunu, has held talks with Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Sabah Zita Benson, to strengthen partnerships and promote investment opportunities in the region. According to #GhanaNews, the meeting focused on advancing priority development initiatives in the Volta Region, with a commitment to driving growth and improving livelihoods.

 

The minister’s visit to the UK is aimed at engaging key development partners to support the region’s development agenda. Gunu expressed optimism about the potential for collaboration, highlighting the region’s rich resources and strategic location as attractive to investors.

 

“I am encouraged by her warm reception and commitment to supporting our efforts,” Gunu said, emphasizing the importance of building strong international relationships. The minister’s delegation also explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure development.
