Agric Minister Denies Involvement in National Broilers Project

 

Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister for Agriculture and NDC Flagbearer Aspirant, has distanced himself from the National Broilers Project, stating that the distribution of chicks is not being done under his ministry. According to #GhanaToday, Opoku emphasized that he is not aware of the project and has no knowledge of its implementation.

 

The Minister’s statement comes amidst allegations of mismanagement and lack of transparency in the project. Opoku assured the public that his ministry is committed to accountability and transparency in all its programs.

 

In a statement, Opoku said, “I am not aware of the National Broilers Project. The distribution of chicks is not being done under my ministry.” He urged the public to be cautious of misinformation and assured that his ministry will continue to work towards promoting agriculture in Ghana.
