

The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister for Communications, Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are stable and receiving medical attention after their convoy was involved in a crash on the Bolgatanga-Tumu road. According to a Press Release signed by Hashmin Mohammed, Press Secretary to the Minister of Education, the ministers were traveling to the Upper West Region to attend the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education when the incident occurred.
The ministers’ conditions are reported to be stable, with no life-threatening injuries. The accident has sparked an outpouring of support and well wishes from the public and government officials.
The cause of the crash is yet to be determined, but investigations are underway. The incident has raised concerns about road safety in Ghana, particularly on the Bolgatanga-Tumu Road, which has witnessed several accidents in recent times.
