Ahiafor Commits to Strengthening NDC Grassroots Engagement
Hon. Richard Ahiafor, aspiring Chairman for the Ho Central Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to revitalizing and strengthening the party’s connection with its grassroots base.
Speaking in an interview on Ewenyigba TV’s morning show with host Tony Mark-Boye, Hon. Ahiafor underscored the critical role grassroots members play in the growth and success of the party. “The grassroots remain the backbone of our party. It is not only important that we listen to them, but that we actively respond to their concerns and aspirations,” he stated.
He acknowledged concerns among some supporters who feel a level of disconnection from the party structure, and assured that under his leadership, deliberate steps would be taken to rebuild trust and foster inclusivity. According to him, transparency, accountability, and open engagement will be the guiding principles of his administration. “We must return to the core values that built this party—ensuring every member feels valued, heard, and fully represented,” he emphasized.
Touching on the party’s future electoral prospects, Hon. Ahiafor expressed strong confidence in the NDC’s ability to rebound and achieve greater success. “With a united front, a clear vision, and a renewed commitment to service, we can reposition ourselves for victory. The strength of our grassroots will be the driving force behind that success,” he noted.
