Drugs Bust: Police Seize Huge Narcotics Haul


In a major breakthrough, the Volta Regional Police Command has intercepted twenty-six sacks of suspected narcotic drugs in a daring operation. The seizure is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
According to the Volta Regional Police Command, the drugs were seized from a vehicle at a checkpoint in the region. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify the perpetrators.
The Regional Police Commander expressed satisfaction with the success of the operation, saying it demonstrated the police’s commitment to fighting crime. “We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our communities are safe from the scourge of drugs,” he said.
The seized drugs are believed to be part of a larger consignment destined for other parts of the country. The police are working with other agencies to track down the suppliers and buyers.
