Dinero Murder: Three Suspects Remanded By Teshie Court
Three suspects fingered in murder of popular mobile phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere aka Dinero have been brought before Teshie District Court in Accra after police arrest.
Police arrested Philip Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams and Josiah Obadai after investigations revealed they lured a male victim to a Teshie Agbleza residence where Tefe struck him with a metallic object and left him to die unattended.
On September 20 2026, the suspects transported the body in a Kia Morning vehicle to a bush near the motorway and set it ablaze. The partially burnt remains were discovered at Tema Community 18 the following day. Police said forensic evidence and call records linked them.
The three suspects have been remanded after appearing before Teshie District Court with case adjourned to October 16 2026. Prosecutors asked for more time to complete investigations and post mortem. Family of Dinero called for justice.
Nana Yaw Kyere aka Dinero was known in Accra phone market for mobile phone sales and repairs. His death sparked outrage on social media. Police caution public to avoid luring schemes and report suspicious activities.
