Police Arrest 3 Over Kidnap And Murder Of 33-Year-Old
Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with alleged kidnapping and murder of 33 year old Nana Yaw Kyere who was reported missing on September 22 2026 in Accra.
Preliminary investigations indicate victim was lured to a residence in Teshie Agbleza where he was allegedly attacked and later died from injuries. Police said suspects attempted to conceal crime. Case has shocked phone dealers community.
According to Ghana Police Service, three suspects Philip Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams and Josiah Obadai were picked up after intelligence led operation. Police said victim popularly known as Dinero was struck with metallic object and left unattended. Body was later transported in Kia Morning vehicle.
On September 20 2026, suspects allegedly moved body to bush near motorway and set it ablaze. Partially burnt remains were found at Tema Community 18. Police forensic team and pathologist are assisting investigation. Family reported him missing on September 22.
