Daily Centering”

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added
unto you.” — Matthew 6:33 KJV

Daily centering is choosing again, every day, to put God at the center. Quiet resilience keeps you
standing, but daily centering keeps you aligned. Life will always try to pull you off center —
worries, notifications, demands, emotions. If you do not center yourself intentionally, you will live
scattered. God does not want an occasional visit from you, He wants first place. “In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” — Proverbs 3:6 KJV.

To be centered is to return to your source before you face your day. Jesus started His day centered.
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary
place, and there prayed” — Mark 1:35 KJV. He did not run into the day, He knelt into the day. Your
day will follow your morning. If you center Him early, you will carry His peace through everything.

Centering is not complicated, it is intentional. A moment to breathe, to reckon your worth, to receive His embrace, to ground your emotions, to remember who you are. “I will lift up mine eyes
unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord” — Psalm 121:1-2 KJV. When you center your heart on Him, your thoughts settle, your focus sharpens, and your
steps find order.

We stay centered by the Spirit. “To be spiritually minded is life and peace” — Romans 8:6 KJV.
When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, He gently pulls you back to center. He reminds you, convicts you, comforts you, and keeps Christ on the throne of your day, not just the corner of it.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for being the center that holds my life together. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and
help me to seek You first every day. Center my heart, center my mind, center my life in Christ. Let everything I do today flow from You. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
