All 16 Regions Believe Ghana is Headed in the Right Direction – Global InfoAnalytics

A recent national tracking poll by Global InfoAnalytics reveals that a majority of Ghanaians, 66%, believe the country is moving in the right direction. The poll shows voters across all 16 regions share this positive outlook, indicating broad national confidence in the current direction of governance.

President John Dramani Mahama recorded a 67% approval rating, unchanged from the previous quarter. Notably, approval for the President extends beyond traditional party lines, including regions typically considered strongholds of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The survey highlights clear partisan differences, with 93% of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters approving of the President’s performance, compared to 28% of NPP supporters. Among floating voters, approval remains strong at 69%.

The poll was conducted using a combination of web-based, telephone, and face-to-face interviews, covering 13,495 respondents across 83 constituencies nationwide. Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, presented the findings, highlighting the significance of this broad-based optimism.

The survey’s results indicate that voters are optimistic about Ghana’s future, believing the current trajectory promises a better tomorrow. This positive trend in public perception suggests growing belief in the government’s ability to steer the nation towards stability and progress.

The findings are a notable indicator of the government’s performance, reflecting public confidence in President Mahama’s leadership.
