The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has rescheduled the start of submission of nomination forms for its 2026 National Executive Elections. The announcement was contained in a statement issued from the Jerry John Rawlings House, the NDC National Headquarters, on Friday, 6th November, 2026.
According to the Congress Elections Committee, the submission of completed nomination forms, originally scheduled to commence at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, 7th November, 2026, has been rescheduled to 12:00 noon. The change affects all aspirants contesting in the 2026 NDC National Executive Elections.
The Committee explained that the rescheduling is in view of the Monthly National Clean-Up Exercise scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, 7th November, 2026. The clean-up exercise is expected to take place across the country in the morning, and the party says the new time will allow aspirants and party officials to fully participate before heading to the headquarters.
Accordingly, all aspirants are advised to take note of the revised commencement time and make the necessary arrangements to submit their nomination forms. The Committee stressed that aspirants should plan their movements well to avoid missing the new 12:00 noon start time.
The submission exercise will continue at the NDC National Headquarters in accordance with the announced arrangements. The Committee says no other changes have been made to the submission process, and aspirants should follow the already announced guidelines.
The statement, referenced NDC/HQ/25-3/112 and marked For Immediate Release, was issued by Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, Spokesperson of the Congress Elections Committee.
